Cookies au Matcha : Une Recette Équilibrée par la Diététicienne @lili_nutri06

Matcha Cookies: A Balanced Recipe by Dietitian @lili_nutri06

Matcha , a powdered Japanese green tea, is well-known for its many health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, it helps strengthen the immune system, detoxify the body, and improve concentration. Thanks to its low calorie content and metabolism-boosting properties, matcha is also a valuable ally in a balanced diet, particularly for weight loss.

In this recipe, dietitian Lili_nutri06 offers us a revisited and lighter version of traditional cookies. By playing with the proportions of butter and sugar, these matcha cookies combine pleasure and balance, while highlighting the subtle and unique flavor of our premium matcha .

Ingredients (for 10 cookies)

Dry ingredients:

  • 180 g of flour (here semi-wholemeal, for more fiber)
  • 5 g of matcha (about 2 tsp)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of Camargue salt

Liquid ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 60 g of brown sugar
  • 60 g of soft butter
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar

Trim :

  • 70 g of crushed white chocolate
  • Raspberries (optional, for a fruity touch)

Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the base of the dough

In a large bowl, mix the softened butter with the brown sugar and Camargue salt until creamy. Then add the egg and vanilla sugar, and mix until smooth.

2. Add the dry ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, matcha, and baking powder. Add this dry mixture to the wet mixture in batches, mixing gently to avoid overworking the dough.

3. Add the toppings

Add the white chocolate pieces and, if desired, the raspberries. Mix lightly to distribute the ingredients evenly without crushing the raspberries.

4. Shape the cookies

Using your hands or a spoon, form balls of dough about 3 cm in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart to prevent them from sticking during baking.

5. Cook

Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan-assisted). Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes . The edges should be lightly golden, but the center should remain soft.

6. Let it cool

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before enjoying.
